Delicious vegan cafes in Tokyo

Japan has a great variety of different foods. However, if you don’t know Japanese and follow a vegan diet, it can be challenging to find a place to eat, vegan/vegetarian options are not widespread across the country yet. So we made a shortlist of 5 vegan cafes for you to look into if you would like to have a nice veg lunch/dinner in central Tokyo.

Ain Soph has various locations around the city, all of them are vegan, incredibly delicious, and have a really nice atmosphere. Check their website to choose which one you want to visit and for a more detailed description of their restaurants and menus! Reservation is highly recommended to secure your table.

Organic Table by Lapaz is an organic vegan / plant-based cafe in Tokyo. They offer vegan/vegetarian burgers, curry, salads, and vegan sweets. Everything is cooked in their kitchen, please note that the restaurant will close if they will run out of ingredients for food, we recommend to make a reservation.

Falafel Brothers as you can guess from the name, the main ingredient in falafel. They have 3 locations around the city in Ebisu, Shibuya, and Roppongi, the menu slightly vary among cafes. Here you can find tasty sandwiches, salad bowl, vegan gyoza , vegan pizza. For more detailed information visit their website.

Parlor 8ablish  is an all-vegan cafe located in Omotesando. Lunch is served from 11:00 to 14:30. “A la carte” menu available until 19:00. Stay Happy  is located near Shimokitazawa station, it is not fully vegan, but has delicious vegan sets and veg options. It has a relaxing atmosphere, free wifi, and hammocks 🙂
