There are various performances taking place in this Edo-village. The most spectacular one is Oiran Courtesan Procession, at least it seems to be the most photographed one. Just look at these beautiful outfits!

There are also theater acts, that were popular during that time, some of them are marked on their website as “easy to understand” even though they are held in Japanese. This still might be not enough for you to understand it, but you will enjoy the show regardless!

For an additional price, you can deepen your immersion into that era by dressing up as a local character, there are few options for your choice. You will be dressed by professional fitting staff, so you can be sure that everything looks as it should. Transform yourself into a samurai, policeman, princess, etc. Have fun!

When you will become hungry, you can try some typical food for that period. Notice, that you won’t find burgers there, only traditional Japanese food.
