Slip Away from the Busy World and into an Otaku Wonderland at Mandarake!

Posted on October 14, 2020

Established in 1987 at Nakano Broadway, Mandarake is one of the world’s largest manga and anime stores!

Mandarake now has more stores throughout Japan, and offers a wide selection of goods that cater to everyone.

One of Mandarake’s stores is tucked right in the heart of Shibuya.

In a city with so much hustle-and-bustle it can be easy for stores to blend into the background.

However, you won’t be able to walk past Mandarake’s Shibuya store without noticing it!

Although it is a two story trek underground, Mandarake draws you into a world all of it’s own the second you start down the stairs.

(But don’t worry! They have elevators too!)

Once you reach the bottom floor, you’re greeted with shelves filled from head-to-toe with no end in sight.
